Regarding the examination schedule, the Regional Deputy Governor and Head of the Education Bureau, Ato Beyene Barasa, who started the examination at Hawassa Lake Primary School, said that various educational preparations have been made throughout the year to prepare the examinees. The Regional Deputy Governor said that the examination was previously held in more than a thousand schools in the region, and this year, 232 centers are being held specially.
He also said that about 49 thousand students will take the 8th grade regional examination in the 2018 academic year.
Since the examination process will be carried out according to the scheduled time frame and plan, the Regional Deputy Governor has sent a message to students and the entire community to be careful of false information being spread on various social media to confuse the examinees and to pay attention to the holiday.
